Emma Elizabeth, Living and breathing by her self-created ethos “design is nothing without style, and style is nothing without design,” Emma Elizabeth is a highly innovative designer and stylist. As a graduate in ‘Scenografia’ from Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Italy, a fusion course between interior design, industrial design and set design that allowed Emma Elizabeth to come directly back to Australia to set up her freelance practice and brand ‘Emma Elizabeth Designs’.

What are your favourite product/s used in your Caroma capsule and why did you choose them?  
A mix of two Australian designers juxtaposed above the Caroma sink, Ross Gardam Silhouette Pendant Lights reflecting in Patty Hava’s Everything is Golden Mirror No.3 both strong statement pieces that punctuate a bathroom.

Describe your approach to design?
I like to mix form, function, texture and tone that evokes a narrative, creates a memory and makes someone think.

What inspires you in your design?
I am inspired by the worlds of other mediums around me: art, pop-culture, fashion and food.

What is the biggest single influence on your creative thinking?
The future.

What is your strongest skill?

What are you currently fascinated by and how is it feeding into your work?
The growth in Art meets Design World or is Design meets Art?  We are seeing a strength in a gallery model as appose to a retail model, with new global shows focusing on this.

What are you passionate about besides your work?
Experiences, whether it be in the vein of travel, food, friends and adventure, its memories and moments that keep me passionate.
