Caroma began in Adelaide and the original manufacturing site has been expanded and upgraded. Plastics are processed using Injection and Compression moulding to produce a range of high quality products. Cisterns, toilet seats, traps, fittings and accessories as well as internal components for vitreous china cisterns are all made using advanced manufacturing techniques.

The factory operates at the highest quality levels, ISO 9001 for production systems and ISO 14001 for environmental management. The Adelaide plant is a three time winner of the 'Manufacturer of the Year Award' and has been inducted into the 'Manufacturing Hall of Fame'.

Product testing is sophisticated and comprehensive. Every cistern is automatically tested for correct function and to ensure that there are no leaks. Similarly, every trap is tested as it is made.
