ACRYLIC BATHS & SHOWER TRAYS

Caroma produces a range of high quality designer baths made of thick crosslinked sanitaryware grade acrylic. The benefit is that if scratches occur over time they are able to be polished out, which is why Caroma baths keep their good looks longer than competitor brands.

Caroma uses sanitaryware grade acrylic due to it's non porous surface, making the Caroma baths and shower trays less likely to stain. Hard water and rust, dripping taps and mould will not mark a Caroma bath.

Another plus is our non porous surface will not hold bacteria - an import hygienic feature.

The shell of our baths and shower trays are then coated with a fibreglass resin, adding extra strength and insulation.

And Caroma baths and shower trays are so easy to clean - mild dishwashing detergents are all that is needed to keep a Caroma bath looking like brand new.

The range of colours are designed to match the colours of Caroma sanitaryware.

PRESSED STEEL ENAMELLED BATHS, SHOWER TRAYS & BASINS

Caroma also produce a range of quality pressed steel enamelled bathroomware to Australian Standards.

Only special alloy steels with low carbon content suitable for enamelling are used. The shells of the bath are pressed using 1,000 tonne 2 stage presses to ensure accurate forming.

The shells are then sprayed with a special enamel ground coat to ensure good chemical bonding with the metal and subsequent finish coat.

The finish coat (called Frit) is sprayed ensuring a very even finish.

The products are then fired through a furnace at temperatures of 850 degrees celsius to produce a glass hard permanent lustrous life time finish with chemical and scratch resistance second to none.

The product range includes shower bath, 1525 and 1675 mm baths, shower trays. Colours include white and ivory designed to match Caroma sanitaryware.
